Installing and Configuring Bogofilter

Bogofilter is a spam filter that uses Bayesian "learning" to identify spam based on similarities to previous messages that users classify as spam. Once trained, it can be more efficient than SpamAssassin, which even when set to a sensitivity level of "3.0" only catches about 75% of the spam that reaches us.

Installation Bogofilter is available from Sourceforge (bogofilter.sourceforge.net). Unfortunately, Sourceforge has recently become highly commercialized and now has dozens of annoying, blinking, animated advertisements written in Javascript. However, most browsers allow you to turn Javascript off, and it's not needed to navigate the site.
