t is a biological fact that men build civilizations and women build families.
Put a woman in charge of a country, and she will see it as her family. Put a
man in charge, and he will see it as his civilization. When that
changes—when they try to switch roles or when one sex destroys
instead of building—our civilization cannot stand and eventually
collapses. Every civilization that ever got destroyed can trace its fate
to this fact.
This is why people are so concerned about population decline. Not because it’s bad for its own sake. We survived just fine a century ago with one-fourth of our current population. Well, maybe not fine: we got World War I, which set Europe into an irreversible tailspin, followed by a pandemic and economic collapse, but we theoretically could have recovered. The problem happens when the cost of recovering is something the citizens and their leaders don’t want to pay.
Some people try to fit the current concern about depopulation into their narrow ideology. They imagine it’s based somehow on racism and loss of privilege. Unfortunately, they apply that argument to everything whether it makes sense or not. In this case it does not.
In fact, most of the concern about population decline is because it’s a universal symptom of bad things to come. Conservatives as a group pay a lot of attention to such things. Unlike leftists, they also say honestly what they think. Yes, it takes them a long time. It took them ages to gin up the courage to say that DEI is racism; but some are now starting to say, still mostly as a joke, that maybe giving women the right to vote was not such a hot idea and we should repeal the 19th Amendment.
That would fall squarely into the category of costs the society doesn’t want to pay. It’s about as popular nowadays as eugenics. But not wanting to pay for something often means that it’s likely to be forced on you one way or the other.
The commentators are right: the death of Europe is being driven by women and by feminization of society. The longer the trend continues, the harder it will be to change it.
Even now, in the dawn of the post-woke era, intelligent women continue to complain about the ‘patriarchy’ and ‘toxic masculinity’ as if they were real things. They are not. They are merely code words for complaining to their comrades. Even the feminists’ favorite term, misogyny, has lost most of its meaning from misuse.
Sexual stereotypes
Both sexes have accepted stereotypes about the other and about themselves.
Men have internalized the stereotype that they’re only interested in sex and they don’t care who or what it’s with. They’ve fallen for the feminist myth that men only care about a woman’s three-dimensional spatial configuration and not her soul and her mind, if indeed she has one, and that they dislike children. This stereotype is ruthlessly enforced both by women and by other men. When women decide they want to be the same as men, they adopt those same stereotypical traits as their own, with disastrous results.
Admitting that men want children as much as women do is one of those things it’s too dangerous for any guy to say. But what guy hasn’t wanted to teach his kid how to change a car tire, shoot at a target, and fix a roof? What kid who grows up without a father hasn’t fallen asleep at night wishing he had one?
You might think the rules have changed, that we can change human nature, but it is not so. The ‘believe women’ fad proved it. It blew up so spectacularly that many people now believe that women never tell the truth. Instead, they are programmed to conform to other people’s truths. What are boob jobs, fake eyelashes, and dyed hair if not attempts at deception?
If one sex refuses to fulfill its biological role, the other will invent a substitute. Maybe we’ll get technology like artificial incubators and sexbots. Or maybe the humans will evolve in such a way as to restore their programmed biological roles. Humans are evolving rapidly as we speak. We use antiseptic terms for it, but evolution is not just slow change by random mutations. It is also death and it is messy, bloody, and painful. Evolution is only about numbers. Wars, plagues, migrations, and population decline are evolution in action.
The drive to test ourselves, to create and teach the young, and to defend our civilization are not cultural. They are part of our genetic programming. Nature does not care if we are consciously aware of these drives or not. It is impossible for humans to go against their genetic programming. Unsolvable problems will happen if they try.
